Pulled Over

A cop pulls over a man for speeding. Thinking
quickly, the man says to the officer,

"It's an emergency. My mother's in the back seat.
She took an overdose of reducing pills."

Checking the back seat, the oficer shook his head.

"But I don't see anyone back there, sir."

"Oh, no!" cried the man. . . .

"I'm too late!"
