When The Long Night Has Ended
There are times and situations in all of our lives
where we must seek God for answers unseen.
For the season we walk through is like a long night
where we toss in the absence of dreams.
But we pray and press through one day at a time
knowing our prayers are recorded and heard.
All the while watching and waiting for the day
when God answers with a definite word.
But what we don't realize at the onset is this-
that God is speaking through the silence each day.
For God is teaching the faithful to persevere by faith
between the times when we sit down to pray.
And though specific answers for the issues we face
leave us waiting for clear, divine direction,
We find greatest solace in what we already know
about God's character and endless perfection.
The silence and the standstill of that particular need
make us see God without strings attached.
For we learn that prayer isn't a button we push
where God pushes a button to match.
Because one day the long night will be lifted away
to see the morning and its beauty so fair.
And that word from the Father at just the right time
brings the daybreak of our answered prayer.
Sheila Gosney
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
Hey,
What did you do for Him , that He accepted you ??!
Do you Know who is He ?!!!
God Bless your day.
Well the nice thing is that His
Book (the Bible) says that He
loved us BEFORE we were even
born. He loves you so much that
He died for you so that you might
spend forever with Him if you or
anyone else simply accept His plan.
Read some of the entries before
your letter above and the next one below.
May God bless...
